Sistema de Incentivos de Base Territorial - Alentejo2030

This call aims to support the creation, expansion, or modernization of micro and small enterprises in priority sectors in the regions of Alentejo Litoral, Baixo Alentejo, Alentejo Central, Alto Alentejo, and Lezíria do Tejo. The main objective is to boost local economies by promoting the diversification of the regional productive base and integrating businesses into regional value chains, with a significant impact on employment and economic resilience.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Business Size: Companies must be micro or small enterprises.
2. Business Age: Projects from companies with less than 3 years of operation (for creation) or more than 3 years (for expansion and modernization).
3. Eligible Sectors: The eligibility of sectors varies according to the NUTS III region, as described below:

• Alto Alentejo:
  • Manufacturing Industries (CAE divisions 10 to 33).
  • Construction (CAE divisions 41 to 43).
  • Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (CAE divisions 45 to 47).
  • Accommodation, food services, and similar activities (CAE divisions 55 and 56).
  • Information and communication activities (CAE divisions 58 to 63).
  • Consulting, scientific, and technical activities (CAE divisions 69 to 75).
  • Administrative and support service activities (CAE divisions 77 to 81).
  • Other cultural, recreational, and sports activities (CAE divisions 90, 91, and 93).
• Alentejo Central, Baixo Alentejo, and Lezíria do Tejo:
  • Manufacturing Industries (CAE divisions 05 to 33).
  • Accommodation and food services (CAE divisions 55 and 56).
• Alentejo Litoral:
  • Retail trade, except motor vehicles and motorcycles (CAE division 47, excluding classes 473, 478, and 479).
  • Food services and similar activities (CAE division 56).
  • Repair of computers and personal and household goods (CAE division 95).
  • Other personal services, such as hairdressing, beauty institutes, and wellness services (CAE division 96).

Eligible Expenses

• Acquisition of machinery and equipment, including technology and software.
• Construction, renovation, or modernization works, limited to 60% of total eligible expenses.
• Consultancy services, marketing plans, product or process certification, and audits for certification/standardization.

Examples of Eligible Projects

• Creation of a small production unit for local products in Alto Alentejo.
• Modernization of a retail store in Baixo Alentejo to diversify products.
• Investment in technology to increase the production capacity of a small business in Alentejo Central.

Financial Information

• Total budget available: €7,475,426
• Co-financing percentage: 60% for Alto Alentejo, 50% for the other regions
• Maximum funding per company: €300,000
• Minimum funding per company: €25,000 (or 10.000€ for Alentejo Litoral)
