Driving Urban Transitions to a sustainable future (DUT) Co-Funded Partnership

The main goal of this opportunity is to support cities in their journey toward sustainability and climate neutrality. It focuses on creating urban environments that are climate-neutral, safe, resilient, socially inclusive, and attractive, with a reduced environmental footprint and net-zero greenhouse emissions. The initiative aims to improve the well-being and quality of life for citizens by promoting innovative urban governance, integrated mobility solutions, and empowering stakeholders with knowledge and skills. It encourages science-based policy implementation and fosters international cooperation, especially with global cities and research networks. The opportunity is open for projects that align with these priorities and have an international or cross-border dimension.

• The project must be submitted by the coordinator of the consortium funded under the specific DUT topic.
• It must follow the required page limits and layout as described in the application guidelines.
• Applicants must be from eligible countries, with possible special conditions for non-EU or non-Associated Countries.
• The action should be implemented as an amendment to an existing grant agreement under the relevant DUT topics.
• Additional partners and activities can be included if they fit the partnership's objectives and are well-justified.

• Travel and subsistence costs for project activities

• Training and capacity-building expenses
• Financial support to third parties (up to EUR 5,000,000 per third party)

Restrictions: Only costs incurred from the project start date and justified in the application are eligible. Funding covers up to 30% of eligible costs.
