Description
The main goal of this opportunity is to use Generative AI (GenAI) to solve important societal challenges in Africa. The initiative focuses on empowering local technology companies to create innovative solutions that address the specific needs of rural communities and women. Key areas include improving agriculture with AI, enhancing healthcare (including gender-sensitive approaches), optimizing infrastructure and urban planning, and advancing digital skills and personalized learning. The program encourages co-creation, living labs, and collaboration with existing EU projects, all within the African context.
Admissible Projects
- Projects must focus on applying GenAI to address challenges in agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure, or digital learning in Africa.
- Solutions should be tailored to the needs of rural communities or women.
- Proposals must involve local technology companies or start-ups in Africa.
- Projects should use co-creation or living lab approaches to engage communities.
- Collaboration with existing networks or EU projects is encouraged.
- Applicants must follow the specified proposal format (page limits and layout).
