Description

The main goal of this opportunity is to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and competences of farmers, their workforce, and advisors to support the transition toward more competitive, sustainable, and resilient agriculture. The focus is on lifelong learning, innovative agricultural education and training, closing knowledge gaps, and promoting upskilling and reskilling. It also emphasizes the effective dissemination of practical knowledge and encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing within Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS). The initiative primarily targets EU Member States, with potential for comparing and collaborating with non-EU regions.

Admissible Projects

  • Projects must follow the specified page limit and layout requirements in the application form.
  • They must adopt a multi-actor approach, including farmers, advisors, educators, trainers, and other AKIS actors for inclusive co-creation.
  • Participants must meet eligibility criteria for countries as outlined in the relevant guidelines.
  • Proposals should be evaluated based on established criteria, scoring, and thresholds.
  • Applicants must demonstrate both financial and operational capacity.
  • Projects should involve social sciences and humanities and address regional and social diversity.
