Description

The main goal of this opportunity is to tackle gender-based violence (GBV) by gathering and analyzing data on its prevalence and effects in diverse social and economic settings. It aims to support policymakers at all levels with recommendations for combating GBV, while also helping employers, practitioners, and civil society organizations in prevention, protection, prosecution, and support services. The opportunity encourages sharing best practices, developing learning materials about consent, and promoting mutual learning. Special attention is given to GBV in workplaces, sports, and online platforms, considering both online and offline forms and factors like age, disability, and gender identity. The geographic focus covers EU countries and certain associated or specially eligible non-EU countries.

Admissible Projects

  • Projects must follow the official proposal format and page limits (maximum 50 pages for RIA using lump sum funding).
  • A detailed budget table must be included using the provided template.
  • Projects should address GBV in one or more focus areas: workplaces, sports, or online platforms.
  • Proposals must consider intersecting factors such as age, socio-economic background, disability, and gender identity.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders like law enforcement, social partners, or academia is encouraged.

Example projects:

  • A study collecting data on GBV in the workplace, focusing on young adults with disabilities.
  • A project developing educational materials about consent for sports coaches and athletes.
  • An initiative analyzing online GBV and proposing interventions for social media platforms.
