Fostering the European battery ecosystem by providing accurate and up-to-date information and stimulating excellence in the European battery R&I community (Batt4EU Partnership)

The main goal of this opportunity is to strengthen the European battery ecosystem by providing reliable and current information, and by promoting excellence within the battery research and innovation community. It aims to support informed decision-making across the battery value chain and to foster a flexible system that can respond to global trends. The opportunity focuses on advancing battery technology, supporting coordinated research activities, sharing best practices, and encouraging the industrial use of research results in energy and transport. It covers the European Union and Associated Countries, while also considering global developments in battery technology.

• Projects must address the advancement of battery technology or the European battery ecosystem.
• Proposals must follow the specified page limits and layout as outlined in the application form.
• Applicants must be from eligible countries (EU, Associated Countries, or those with special provisions).
• Projects should contribute to the objectives of the BATT4EU Partnership, such as supporting the battery value chain or fostering research excellence.
• Projects must assess or analyze the state-of-the-art of battery technology at a European and global level.
