The grant aims to support micro and small enterprises in the Algarve region by boosting employment, enhancing local economies' resilience and modernization, and diversifying the economic base through innovation. This initiative focuses on stimulating the growth and competitiveness of small businesses, thereby creating jobs and supporting productive investments.

Type of Project

• Creation of micro and small businesses
• Expansion or modernization of existing micro and small businesses
• Projects that do not belong to the tourism sector

Eligibility Criteria

• Beneficiaries must be micro and small enterprises
• Projects must contribute to employment and diversification of the Algarve's productive base
• Investments must be aimed at developing activities related to industry, digitalization, and environmental sustainability

Eligible Expenses

• Investments in the creation, expansion, or modernization of businesses
• Certain indirect costs up to 7% of total eligible direct costs
• Travel costs for participants in activities, based on distances outlined in Annexe I

• A small business startup focusing on sustainable agriculture technologies in Algarve
• Expansion of an existing small enterprise into digital markets and services
• Modernization of production techniques to improve environmental efficiency

• Co-financing percentage: 60%
• Maximum funding per company: 200,000€
• Minimum funding per company: 25,000€
