The main goal of this opportunity is to improve the understanding and management of medium- and long-term challenges in agriculture caused by climate change. It focuses on fostering climate change mitigation and adaptation within the agricultural sector, with a special emphasis on Europe. Key areas include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening water system resilience, and developing region-specific adaptation strategies. The opportunity also aims to provide practical tools for farmers and practitioners to adapt and restore agricultural systems. Geographic coverage is primarily Europe, but some non-European countries may participate under certain conditions.
Admissible Projects
- Must follow specified proposal page limits and layout.
- Applicants must be from eligible countries, with certain non-European countries allowed under specific provisions.
- Consortium may include the Joint Research Centre (JRC).
- Projects using satellite data must use Copernicus and/or Galileo/EGNOS services.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial and operational capacity.
