The main goal of this opportunity is to support the creation and implementation of integrated home renovation services that drive the clean energy transition in residential buildings. Efforts are focused on making energy renovations simpler and more attractive for homeowners, improving access to support, and building strong partnerships among key actors. The initiative prioritizes regions where such services are limited or just starting, with a special emphasis on mentorship and outreach. Activities should help streamline investments, foster consumer trust, and develop sustainable business models for energy-efficient renovations.

Admissible Projects

  • Projects must address the integration of home renovation services for clean energy in private residential buildings.
  • For Scopes A and B: Projects can be submitted by a single applicant or applicants from a single eligible country.
  • For Scope C: Projects must include at least 3 applicants from 3 different eligible countries.
  • Scope C projects should focus on expanding activities to countries not yet covered by similar initiatives, with mentorship and outreach components.
  • Projects must comply with eligibility, capacity, and exclusion conditions as set out in the call document.

Examples:

  • A partnership between three organizations in different countries to launch a regional one-stop-shop for energy renovations.
  • A single national agency developing a new integrated service model for home energy upgrades.
  • A consortium focusing on mentoring emerging renovation services in less developed regions.

  • Maximum per project: For Scopes A and B, up to 1,500,000 (other amounts allowed)
  • Minimum per project: For Scope C, 2,000,000 (other amounts allowed)
  • Maximum per project: For Scope C, 2,500,000(other amounts allowed)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must propose activities related to integrated home renovation services for clean energy in private residential buildings.
  • For Scopes A and B: Proposals can be from a single applicant or multiple applicants from a single eligible country.
  • For Scope C: Proposals must include at least 3 applicants from 3 different eligible countries.
  • Scope C proposals cannot be submitted by a single applicant or cover only one eligible country.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to implement the proposed project.
  • All eligibility, capacity, and exclusion requirements described in the call document must be met.
  • Consortia are required for Scope C; partnerships are encouraged for broader impact.
