The main goal of this opportunity is to strengthen the competitiveness of low-density areas in the Algarve by valuing local resources and boosting the capacity of local organizations. It focuses on integrated and inclusive social, economic, and environmental development, supporting culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism, and safety in non-urban areas. Key areas include building and promoting local networks, improving public spaces, developing activities linked to local resources, and creating innovative products and marketing strategies based on local strengths. The program specifically targets the Algarve region in Portugal.

• Projects must comply with eligibility conditions for beneficiaries and projects, aligning with program objectives.
• Implementation must occur within the Algarve region (NUTS II), respecting the established territorial limits.
• The total project cost must exceed €200,000, with only eligible expenses considered.
• Projects must align with the Integrated Territorial Development Strategy and contribute to the ITI PADRE II Action Plan.
• Applicants must demonstrate project sustainability and secured financing.
• Eligible actions include public space improvements, activities linked to local resources, creation of innovative local networks, and initiatives to boost territorial competitiveness.

• Price revisions for works, as per contract.
• Purchase of essential equipment, monitoring systems, technology, and software.
• Non-recoverable VAT on eligible costs.

• Other financial details: Funding is split among specific project types, with payments made as advances, reimbursements, or final payments. Projects must not be completed before applying, and beneficiaries must show financial capacity and sustainability after the investment. For projects over €500,000, a video presentation is required.
