Description

The main goal of this opportunity is to support the transition to a sustainable, circular, and energy-efficient economy that is resilient to climate change. It aims to foster a toxic-free environment and enhance the quality of the environment, in line with the European Green Deal. Focus areas include circular economy and waste management, resource recovery, zero pollution, and sustainable management of natural resources such as air, water, soil, and chemicals. The initiative also covers industrial emissions, safety, and the New European Bauhaus. Eligible countries are specified in the call document.

Admissible Projects

  • Projects must comply with admissibility conditions, including proposal format and page limits.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Applicants: Legal entities (public or private bodies) established in EU Member States, EEA countries, or other countries associated with the LIFE Programme. The coordinator must be established in an eligible country.

  • Consortium Structure: Projects can be submitted by a single beneficiary or a consortium.

  • Focus Areas: Projects should align with the LIFE Circular Economy and Zero Pollution sub-programme, targeting:

    • Circular Economy and Waste: Promoting innovative solutions for resource recovery, recycling, and circular product design.

    • Zero Pollution and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources: Addressing the prevention and reduction of pollution across air, water, and soil.

    • A New European Bauhaus: Delivering integrated solutions that combine environmental sustainability with social inclusion and aesthetic value in buildings and urban spaces.
