The grant aims to support young entrepreneurs who have started companies less than two years ago in the Autonomous Region of the Azores by fostering sustainable and integrated economic development. This initiative focuses on stimulating positive dynamics of competitiveness, creating an encouraging environment for business efficiency, and contributing to the diversification and renewal of the business fabric through innovation and knowledge.

Type of Project

• Investment operations by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) created less than two years ago.
• Projects that develop activities in sectors with strong growth dynamics.
• Initiatives that contribute to the diversification and renovation of the business fabric based on knowledge and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Micro, small, and medium enterprises (including startups).
• Companies established for less than two years at the time of application.

Eligible Expenses

• Start-up costs for new businesses.
• Adaptation of existing business models to integrate innovative practices.
• Investments aimed at developing projects that foster business diversification and innovation.

Examples of Eligible Projects to be developed

• Launching a digital platform to expand market reach for a newly created local artisan goods shop.
• Development of an innovative agricultural start-up focusing on sustainable cultivation techniques.
• Establishing a renewable energy solutions company focusing on solar panel installations for residential and commercial properties.

• Total budget for the grant: 20,000,000€
• Co-financing percentage: Up to 70%
• Maximum funding per company: 350,000€
• Minimum funding per company: 15,000€
