The main goal of this opportunity is to strengthen the cybersecurity of hospitals and healthcare providers so they can better detect, monitor, and respond to cyber threats, especially ransomware. The initiative aims to improve the resilience of the European healthcare system by enhancing detection and response capabilities and reducing the impact of cyberattacks. Key focus areas include developing technical cybersecurity plans, running pilot demo installations, delivering staff training, and organizing broad awareness campaigns. The action also supports preparedness across Europe, covering all 27 EU Member States as well as Iceland and Norway.
