Description

The main goal of this opportunity is to strengthen the cybersecurity community across Europe by supporting the work of National Coordination Centres (NCCs). It focuses on promoting safer digital practices, encouraging young people to pursue careers in cybersecurity, and helping innovative cybersecurity ideas reach the market. The initiative also aims to boost cooperation between institutions in education and research, and to help start-ups and SMEs adopt advanced cybersecurity solutions. Activities will cover all 27 EU Member States, as well as Iceland and Norway, through the Network of National Cybersecurity Coordination Centres.

Admissible Projects

  • Projects must be led by or closely involve National Coordination Centres (NCCs).
  • Activities should promote cybersecurity awareness, education, or training.
  • Projects should support the scaling up of start-ups or SMEs in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Initiatives must foster the adoption of EU-developed cybersecurity technologies.
  • Collaboration between educational and research institutions is encouraged.
  • Projects should contribute to building cybersecurity capacities and safer digital behaviors.

  • An NCC-led campaign to educate SMEs about best practices in cybersecurity.
  • A training program for university students to prepare them for cybersecurity careers.
  • A support scheme helping start-ups adopt and commercialize advanced cybersecurity tools developed in the EU.
