Multi-Disciplinary design and Analysis Framework for Aerial Systems

The main goal of this opportunity is to develop a multi-disciplinary framework for designing and analyzing aerial systems using advanced digital twin technologies. The focus is on creating a system that improves interoperability and enables new breakthroughs in aerial system design, management, and operation. Key objectives include enhancing mission management, predictive maintenance, and autonomous operations, while improving safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency. The initiative emphasizes modular design, interdisciplinary integration, robust data management, cybersecurity, and the creation of standards for digital twins. This effort aims to optimize system efficiency and reduce development risks and costs.

• Projects must follow the proposal page limits and layout as described in the application guidelines.
• Proposals must include mandatory activities such as feasibility studies, system or technology design, and partial tests in industrial or representative environments.
• Eligible activities include generating new knowledge, increasing system interoperability and resilience, designing defence products, prototyping, testing, qualification, certification, and developing technologies that improve lifecycle efficiency.
