Description
The main goal of this opportunity is to support the development of next-generation modular and multifunctional armoured land platforms and the technologies that enable them. It focuses on improving energy efficiency, modularity, and multifunctionality, while reducing environmental and logistical impacts. The opportunity also aims to eliminate or limit the use of environmentally toxic substances and to strengthen the competitiveness of EU businesses in the global defence market. Key areas include advancing technology maturity, increasing standardisation and interoperability, and ensuring security of supply within the EU. This grant targets solutions for EU Member States and associated countries, particularly for enhancing their military vehicle fleets and meeting their technological needs.
Admissible Projects
- Projects must focus on developing, qualifying, certifying, and improving the efficiency of new armoured land platforms.
- Proposals must include activities such as studies, design, system prototyping, testing, qualification, certification, and efficiency improvements.
- Projects must aim to achieve initial operational capability for newly developed platforms.
- Proposals must comply with the specified page limits and layout requirements.

Restrictions: Only specific raw materials or components that cannot be sourced within the EU may be procured from outside the EU.
