Description

The grant aims to support micro and small enterprises in the NUTS II Centro region by creating employment opportunities. This initiative focuses on improving access to employment and enhancing the economic diversity at the community level .

Type of Project

• Creation of new permanent job positions associated with new enterprises or expansion of existing ones
• Empowerment and entrepreneurship for unemployed individuals, including long-term unemployed and socially disadvantaged groups
• Personal employment creation through business establishment

Eligibility Criteria

• Entities should be micro or small enterprises, excluding self-employed individuals creating jobs for themselves
• Candidates should not have been registered as salaried workers or self-employed for at least 6 months prior to application
• Support is also available for individuals wishing to create their own full-time paid jobs regardless of their current employment status

Eligible Expenses

• Support for employment creation through company or business expansion activities
• Entrepreneurial initiatives for the unemployed, including those without social security registrations
• Operations aimed at personal employment creation through new business ventures

Examples of Eligible Projects to be developed

• Expansion of a current microenterprise to add new permanent jobs
• Creation of a new small business specializing in local service provisions, employing locals, including vulnerable groups
• Initiative by an unemployed individual to start a niche market business in the local area

• Co-financing percentage: 85%
