International cooperation in semiconductors (CSA)

The main goal of this opportunity is to boost international cooperation in the semiconductor sector, strengthening Europe’s role in the global semiconductor value chain. The focus is on providing evidence-based advice to European policymakers, fostering joint actions with leading semiconductor countries, and supporting research partnerships. Key activities include mapping supply chains, identifying new technologies, analyzing risks to Europe’s competitiveness and security, promoting standardization, organizing joint events, and supporting researcher exchanges. The geographic scope covers top semiconductor countries outside the EU, such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the USA, Canada, and India, with additional attention to advancing Generative AI initiatives in Africa.
