The main goal of this opportunity is to support the development of innovative data ecosystems that comply with EU regulations. It aims to make compliance processes easier and more automated for businesses and professionals using advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The program also encourages the creation and use of synthetic data to improve data quality, increase diversity, and minimize bias while addressing ethical concerns. Focus areas include compliance technology, privacy preservation, and enhancing real-world data through synthetic alternatives. Eligible participants are located in EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, associated countries, and OECD countries, with certain restrictions to protect EU interests.
Admissible Projects
- Development of AI-powered compliance tools integrating NLP, cybersecurity, and privacy-enhancing technologies (Area 1).
- Implementation of auto-compliance mechanisms for data transactions and data space operations aligned with EU data regulations (Area 2).
- Generation and management of synthetic data to address real-world data limitations and ensure regulatory-compliant AI innovation (Area 3).
- User-focused projects offering training, stakeholder engagement, and performance indicators linked to evolving EU compliance needs.
- Multi-area initiatives combining advanced tech development with synthetic data strategies and data space alignment, with one main focus clearly identified.

- Creating a toolkit to generate synthetic datasets for testing healthcare applications while preserving patient privacy.

Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must comply with additional eligibility conditions as described in Annex B of the relevant Work Programme documents.
