The grant aims to support individual entrepreneurs and their workers in regions such as Norte, Centro, and Alentejo by continuing the provision of public support for individual business training. This initiative focuses on adapting workers and enterprises to change, enhancing their competitiveness through upgraded skills and qualifications .

Type of Project

• Training sessions aimed at business adaptation to digital and technological changes
• Projects enhancing the skills and qualifications in a business and regional administrative context
• Individualized training operations that boost enterprise competitiveness

Eligibility Criteria

• Businesses registered and operating in the eligible geographic areas
• Applications must fall within the designated operational types and fulfill the objectives laid out by the grant
• Must apply within the defined application period: July to October 2024

Eligible Expenses

• Expenses related to conducting training sessions for employees and business leaders
• Costs associated with adapting businesses to new digital technologies
• Expenses for project management and administration, related to the training modules

Examples of Eligible Projects to be developed

• Implementation of a training program to upgrade IT skills for workers in a manufacturing company in Alentejo
• Development of a project to integrate digital marketing tools in a small business in Norte
• Organizing a series of workshops on digital adaptation for enterprises at a regional business hub in Centro

• Co-financing percentage: Up to 70%
