The main goal of this opportunity is to accelerate the development and widespread adoption of beta-cell therapy for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in Europe. The opportunity also aims to streamline clinical development, define patient-centered outcomes, and explore reimbursement models to facilitate the integration of cell therapy into diabetes care. Collaboration with European networks and initiatives is encouraged to maximize impact. The scope is limited to Europe, with entities in the UK and Canada excluded from funding.
