The main goal of this grant is to strengthen resilience against climate risks in urban areas and reduce the impact of extreme local events, especially fires. It supports actions that lower vulnerability to fire, such as adaptation measures, fire prevention and response equipment, and systems for collecting and storing biomass. The broader aim is to promote climate change adaptation, disaster risk prevention, and resilience through ecosystem-based approaches. This opportunity applies to the NUTS II Lisboa region in Portugal and is part of a sustainability and climate resilience initiative co-financed by European funds.

• Projects must meet specific eligibility requirements, including alignment with the objectives of the PR Lisboa 2030 and the typologies detailed in the notice.
• Actions should include acquiring individual protection equipment, developing risk monitoring and alert systems, and constructing or upgrading civil protection infrastructure.
• Projects must demonstrate adequate maturity and ensure no overlap with other funding sources.
• Compliance with necessary licenses and authorizations is required.
• Infrastructure projects must show resilience to climate change.
• Only projects with a "Merit of Operation" score of at least 3.00 will be considered.

All expenses must directly relate to the project’s objectives and follow specific program rules and limits.

• Co-financing rate: 40%
• Maximum value per project: €200,000
