The main goal of this opportunity is to promote sustainable development in the coastal and estuarine areas of the Península de Setúbal. It focuses on strengthening the blue, circular, and sustainable economy, supporting innovation and competitiveness of local resources, and valuing the region's social, cultural, and environmental capital. Projects should encourage balanced economic activities, resource preservation, and local entrepreneurship. The scope is limited to specific areas within the GAL ADREPES COSTEIRO region in Portugal, covering several municipalities and parishes along the Setúbal Peninsula.

• Projects must be led by entities from the cooperative, social, or private sectors, with or without profit motives.
• Activities must take place within the defined intervention area of GAL ADREPES COSTEIRO.
• Projects should align with the strategic objectives of sustainable development, blue economy, innovation, and local resource valorization.
• Applicants must meet financial autonomy requirements (20% for profit-oriented, 15% for non-profit).
• Eligible actions include construction, modernization, equipment acquisition, energy efficiency, and environmental conservation.
• All projects must comply with general and specific eligibility and legal requirements.

Example Projects:

• An association modernizes a local fish market to improve energy efficiency and promote local products.
• A cooperative launches a digital platform to market artisanal seafood products from the region.
• A non-profit restores a coastal trail, enhancing access for eco-tourism and conserving natural habitats.

• Construction, modernization, or adaptation of buildings and infrastructure
• Purchase or adaptation of machinery, equipment, and IT systems, including software
• Equipment for energy production and distribution from renewable sources for self-consumption
• Purchase or adaptation of boats for renewable energy use or tourism
• Equipment for nautical sports and vehicles for transporting refrigerated fishery products
• Materials for marketing, communication, and intellectual property
• Technical studies and specialized consultancy services
• Creation of websites, digital platforms, and applications (up to 12 months of hosting)
• Marketing campaigns and industrial property registration

Note: Expenses must comply with EU and program-specific rules. Some restrictions apply based on the nature of the project and beneficiary.

• Total budget of the grant: €413,260.49
• Co-financing rate: 50% (can increase to 60%, 75%, or 100% for specific cases)
• Maximum per project: €200,000
• Minimum per project: The final payment request must be at least 5% of the approved support value
• Maximum project duration: 24 months
• Other financial details: Public support to a single company cannot exceed €300,000 over three years. Payments are made as advances, reimbursements, and final balances. Special financial autonomy and equity conditions apply for both profit and non-profit entities.

• Any entity from the cooperative, social, or private sector, with or without profit motives, may apply.
• Profit-oriented applicants must show at least 20% financial autonomy based on the previous fiscal year or certified data.
• Non-profit entities must have at least 15% equity relative to eligible investment value; new entities must ensure 20% of eligible investment with their own capital.
• Applicants must have positive equity in the previous fiscal year or show corrective measures.
• Projects must take place within the intervention area of GAL ADREPES COSTEIRO.
• Proposals must align with strategic objectives: sustainable development, blue economy, innovation, and local resource valorization.
• Applicants must register and authenticate in the Balcão dos Fundos system.
• All required documentation and financial criteria must be met.
