Description

The grant aims to support young job seekers in Portugal by providing financial assistance for their stable employment and integration into the workforce. This initiative focuses on improving job quality and creating stable employment opportunities to mitigate youth unemployment.

Type of Project

• Long-term employment contracts for young qualified individuals
• Support for social security contributions
• Support for young people's autonomy and professional development

Eligibility Criteria

• Young unemployed individuals under 35 years old with a qualification level between 5 and 8
• Entities must be private, either for-profit or non-profit
• Jobs must offer a salary equal to or greater than the entry level for a bachelor's degree in the public administration

Eligible Expenses

• Salaries that meet or exceed certain thresholds
• Contributions to social security
• Professional training and development activities

Examples of Eligible Projects to be developed

• Employing a young graduate in a startup recognized for innovation and growth potential
• Contracting a long-term unemployed youth in a recognized scaleup
• Hiring young professionals in regions identified as needing economic stimulation

• Maximum funding per company: 11,305.57€ for contracts with disability inclusiveness
• Minimum funding per company: 3,564.82€ in social security benefits
