Admissible Projects
- Projects must focus on the conservation or structural reinforcement of land support infrastructures.
- Only structural interventions to reduce mass movements on slopes with imminent risk of collapse are eligible.
- Projects must not involve the requalification or enhancement of buildings, surrounding spaces, or road networks.
- Projects must demonstrate technical sustainability and a minimum level of maturity (such as completed procurement or project approvals).
- All necessary licenses and authorizations must be in place.
- Projects must not be located in areas that have already received support for the same purpose.
Examples:
- Reinforcing a hillside next to a village to prevent landslides after heavy rain.
- Stabilizing a slope along a rural road to reduce the risk of collapse onto the roadway.
- Constructing retaining walls to support a public park area at risk of soil movement.

- Civil construction and engineering works
- Technical support, supervision, and safety coordination
- Technical assistance for project implementation
- Price revisions for eligible works
- Land acquisition necessary for interventions
- Establishment of servitudes and compensation to tenants, if needed
- Structural interventions to stabilize slopes
Restrictions: Only expenses directly related to slope reinforcement are eligible. Expenses for building renovations, surrounding spaces, or road network improvements are not supported.

- Co-financing rate: Up to 85%
- Maximum per project: €500,000
- Minimum per project: €150,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be entities from the Regional Public Administration or Municipalities in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
- Projects must comply with both general and specific eligibility conditions for beneficiaries and operations.
- Applicants must provide evidence that the project will not cause significant harm to environmental objectives.
- Projects must align with strategic objectives and demonstrate capacity for execution, impact, and quality, meeting minimum merit scores.
- All required documentation, such as declarations of commitment and proof of financial capacity, must be submitted.
- Applicants must comply with environmental and territorial regulations.
- For companies, proof is needed that they are not in financial difficulty.
- Applicants must not have previously received funding for the same purpose in the proposed location.
