This grant aims to support micro and small enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, and job creation in the Alentejo Region This initiative focuses on fostering entrepreneurship, creating new jobs, and supporting territorial economic diversification, especially in low-density areas.
Admissible Projects

Focus on creating new jobs through the launch of new businesses or the expansion of existing microenterprises.

Be linked to a local investment plan that results in permanent, full-time employment contracts.

Lead to a net increase in employment within the company, meaning that the total number of staff at the end of the project must be higher than the 12-month average before application.

Comply with the rule that remote, hybrid, or virtual working models (including virtual incubation) are not eligible.

Eligible Expenses

Salary costs for the new jobs created, including gross salary, mandatory social security contributions, and legal benefits.

Equipment and support costs, such as furniture, IT materials, or protective gear, necessary for the proper setup and functioning of the new role.

Eligibility Criteria

Be a micro or small enterprise or an individual entrepreneur

Have organized accounting in place.

Commit to creating new full-time, permanent jobs, which must represent a net increase in employment compared to the 12-month average prior to application.

Only hire individuals who meet at least one of the following conditions:

Unemployed for 3+ months (or 2+ months if under 30 or over 45 years old) and registered with IEFP

Belong to a vulnerable group, including:

People receiving unemployment or social insertion benefits
-
Persons with disabilities or in single-parent families
-
Victims of domestic violence or human trafficking
-
Refugees, ex-prisoners, recovering addicts, or former military volunteers

Homeless individuals

The company must not have any legal or financial restrictions preventing it from receiving public funding.
