This grant aims to support micro and small enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, and job creation in the Alentejo Region This initiative focuses on fostering entrepreneurship, creating new jobs, and supporting territorial economic diversification, especially in low-density areas.

Type of Project to Develop

• Creation of new businesses.
• Expansion of existing microenterprises leading to job creation.
• Projects aligned with specific local economic development strategies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Micro and small enterprises 
• Individual entrepreneurs.
• Excludes medium-sized enterprises, service providers, and liberal professionals.

Eligible Expenses

• Costs related to the creation of jobs, including salaries and social security.
• Operational costs directly tied to project implementation.
• Expenses on equipment, leases, and other operational necessities for the supported positions.

Examples of Eligible Projects to Be Developed

• A local crafts business creating three.
• Expansion of a small startup in Baixo Alentejo hiring two young graduates.
• Establishing a rural tourism project that supports sustainable employment in Alentejo Central.
