Equipamento/Reequipamento de Infraestruturas Culturais (Norte2030)

The grant aims to support cultural infrastructure projects in the Northern region of Portugal by providing financial assistance for the equipment, reequipments, and technical upgrades of these infrastructures. This initiative focuses on enhancing the cultural and social engagement through sustainable tourism and cultural activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Projects must be in the Northern region of Portugal (NUTS II)
• Eligible applicants include municipalities, intermunicipal entities, and public-private partnerships
• Projects should align with regional cultural development plans

Eligible Expenses

• Construction work and engineering directly related to cultural infrastructure
• Technical equipment for theaters and libraries, such as audiovisual and lighting systems
• Consultancy services for project studies and planning

• Modernization of a theater's sound and lighting systems to enhance performance quality
• Refitting a public library with modern digital resources and comfortable reading areas
