Transferência do conhecimento científico e tecnológico - Ações Coletivas (Alentejo2030)

The grant aims to support non-business entities in the system of Research and Innovation in Alentejo by promoting research and innovation. This initiative focuses on enhancing conditions that support the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge, ultimately boosting the competitiveness of Alentejo.

Type of Project

• Demonstration actions for technological development aimed at economic valorization
• Dissemination and diffusion actions of new knowledge and technologies generated within the scope of R&D, for the business sector, involving pilot demonstration projects, sectoral experimentation actions, or dissemination of scientific and technological information
• Dissemination actions in an experimental environment for successful European R&D projects
• Promotion of seed projects and spin-offs within the I&I system, aiming to transform innovative ideas into business initiatives, including the development of prototype validation, pre-commercial proof of concept, and/or processes for application markets/sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

• Non-business entities such as higher education institutions
• Private non-profit institutions focusing on research and development (R&D)
• Located within the NUTS II Alentejo region

Eligible Expenses

• Third-party services including technical and scientific consulting
• Promotion and dissemination activities for the project's results
• Renting spaces and equipment for promotional activities

Examples of Eligible Projects to be developed

• Creating pilot demonstrations for new technological applications
• Launching sector-specific experimental projects to test new R&D innovations
• Developing prototypes to validate innovative concepts before commercial release

• Co-financing percentage: 85%
