Sistema de Incentivos de Base Territorial - Centro2030

This call supports the creation, expansion, or modernization of micro and small businesses in priority sectors in the regions of Beiras e Serra da Estrela, Beira Baixa, Coimbra, Leiria, Viseu Dão Lafões, and Médio Tejo. The support is aimed at small-scale investment projects, with the goal of promoting economic growth, job creation, and the modernization of local economies. It is important to note that the Aveiro region is not covered by this call.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applications must meet the following requirements:

Business Size and Location:

• Micro and small businesses located in Beiras e Serra da Estrela, Beira Baixa, Coimbra, Leiria, Viseu Dão Lafões, or Médio Tejo.

Business Age:

• Companies with less than 5 years of operation are eligible for new business creation projects.
• Companies with at least 5 years of operation can apply for expansion or modernization projects.

Eligible Sectors: Only companies belonging to the following sectors:

• Extractive industries (CAE 05 to 09)
• Manufacturing industries (CAE 10 to 33)
• Tourism:
  • Hotel establishments (CAE 551)
  • Rural tourism (CAE 55202)
  • Camping and caravan parks (CAE 55300)
  • Restaurants (CAE 56101 and 56104)
  • Organization of tourist activities (CAE 93293)

Eligible Expenses:

• Purchase of equipment and machinery
• Building renovations and construction works
• Specialized consulting services, such as marketing, certification, and financial audits

Examples of Eligible Projects:

• Opening a new bakery in a locality in Leiria
• Creating a boutique hotel for rural tourism in Viseu
• Expanding capacity and modernizing the facilities of a local restaurant

• Total budget: 3,000,000€
• Co-financing percentage: Up to 50%
• Maximum funding per company: 300,000€
• Minimum funding per company: 40,000€
