The grant aims to support micro and small enterprises in Alentejo regions by providing financial support for the creation, expansion, or modernization of businesses. This initiative focuses on enhancing local economies through diversification of the regional production base and supporting the integration of these businesses into value chains and networks, significantly contributing to employment and regional economic resilience .

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be micro or small enterprises
• Projects aligned with regional strategic development plans
• Needs to have less than 3 years of activity

Eligible Expenses

• Purchase of machinery and equipment
• Acquisition of computer hardware and related software
• Construction and renovation works, not exceeding 60% of total eligible expenses

Examples of Eligible Projects to be Developed

• Setting up a new small factory for local product manufacturing in Alto Alentejo
• Modernizing an existing retail business to expand product lines in Baixo Alentejo
• Investing in new technologies for a small enterprise in Alentejo Central to enhance production capacity
